The Company is experiencing rapid growth globally and is seeking an experienced delivery consultant to augment the team.
Context of Position
We currently have excellent relationships with many sports business clients, with new exciting partnerships being continually forged. The Partners at SRI are primarily responsible for winning new business and developing our existing client base.
This role will support the partners and will be tasked with supporting the delivery of both executive search assignments and contingency briefs across a range of disciplines and sectors. The post will also provide assistance where necessary to other consultants.
Our assignments come in all shapes, sizes and locations, for example;
Product designers - Netherlands
COO - Azerbaijan
Head of Licensing - Geneva
Sales Director - Zurich
Marketing manager - London
The SRI culture is one of maturity and trust whilst also supportive of consultants in their endeavors. As this is often a new sector to new employees we have an induction program to both the company and industry to assist new team members in the transition to the sports sector.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
General;
- Develop a deep understanding of the sports business sector, building continuous knowledge and credibility
- Read various publications on regular basis to source leads and industry information and ensure this data is captured on the Profile database.
- Maintenance of the internal database and ensure a high level of data integrity
- Develop/ retain knowledge of specific skill sets.
- Build relationships and regularly consult with clients and candidates where appropriate to ensure their recruitment needs are met.
- Ensure a business understanding of clients needs including their organisational structure, future recruitment needs and company environment and culture.
- Develop in depth market knowledge of clients and react to actively follow up and contact relevant individuals following new announcements
- Consult on the market, salaries and best fit for the company
Candidate Generation;
- Market mapping and identification of target companies and individuals
- Desk based research for identification of targets
- Referral led research including coordinating other staff members to access their networks
- Cold calling to secure new contacts, names and information
- Source new leads through keeping up to date on industry movements/speaking to candidates and clients/ keeping in contact with clients
- Network regularly to increase awareness of SRI in the marketplace and to increase the number of referrals and constantly improve candidate generation
Candidate Management;
- Manage applications of candidates
- Interview candidates and gain understanding of their career history and aspirations
- Develop/ retain knowledge of specific skill sets
- Administration and organisation of interviews
- Manage internal database and keep up to date records
- Guiding and advising candidates through the interview process
Delivery Management ;
- Build relationships and regularly consult with clients to ensure their recruitment needs are met both with HR and line management.
- Alongside the Partner, effectively project manage the delivery process on time and on budget
- Responsible for the management and evolution of research reports and documentation
- Produce accurate, informative and relevant candidate interview reports
- Support the Partner(s) on client presentations

Background/Qualifications
- Recruitment industry experience
- Business level / fluent language skills (Order of preference French / German / Spanish)
- Experience of managing ‘C’ level clients and candidates
- Delivery and research experience and capability
- Skilled interviewer
- Exposure to managing retained, advertised and executive search assignments
- Demonstrable experience of recruitment across multiple disciplines and functions
- PC skills – Database (SRI use Profile) Outlook/Word/Excel
- International exposure by living, traveling or working abroad
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad
- Genuine interest in sports
