We work with a variety of prestigious sports-related clients, such as national & international governing bodies, global sporting & fashion brands, clubs & events, sport broadcasters and operators and sports marketing agencies.

In order to support the development of the business in Continental Europe, we are now seeking for our Munich office a Senior Recruitment Consultant Sport & Fashion.
The role
As part of our global team of consultants, you will play a leading role in developing and servicing our clients based around the world and particularly in Continental Europe.
With the help of a team, you will be tasked with developing client relationships as well as the delivery of search assignments across a range of disciplines and sectors within the sports industry. You will work closely with the firms other global practice leaders based in our United Kingdom, Switzerland, Singapore, China, Australia and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Playing a proactive part in the Business Development of new clients
  • Developing a deep understanding of the sports & fashion business sector and the way sports organisations are organised
  • Managing and actively working on the full recruitment process from start to finish; on brief, on time and on budget
  • Build relationships and regularly consult with clients and candidates where appropriate, to ensure their recruitment needs are met
  • Candidate engagement, Interviewing candidates and gaining an understanding of their career history and aspirations 
  • Produce accurate, informative and relevant candidate interview reports and present the candidates to the client 
  • Desk-based and telephone research to identify potential clients
  • Client engagement, ownership of the client experience
  • Proposal creation and presentation to the client
  • Reporting, forecasts and project updates to the finance department and partners
Skills & Experience Required
  • >3 years of experience in recruitment
  • academic background and experience in an executive search or recruitment company
  • Excellent languages skills in German and English
  • A proactive, positive and “can do” personality who can work independently, innovate and has the confidence to engage with senior managers across the business
  • An experienced user of the internet, search methodologies, on-line social networks and MS-Office applications, as well as having a strong affinity to the use of a recruitment software
  • Good organiser with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially minded and a strong interest in executive search or recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills
