Fanatics International is based out of its headquarters in Manchester, UK. It is the official retail partner for many of the world’s leading sports clubs and organisations from major football clubs to events and governing bodies. Our football partners include Manchester United, Real Madrid and Olympique de Marseille and we run omni-channel retail operations for Manchester City and Everton FC, among others.
Fanatics International’s other sporting relationships span both online physical retail and events, across motorsports, rugby, tennis and golf with leading partners that include Formula One, McLaren F1, the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, and the Ryder Cup. In addition, we operate the e-commerce business for the NFL, NBA and NHL in Europe. Fanatics International works with major brands in sporting goods such as Adidas, Nike and Puma.
We have 3 fantastic opportunities for experienced candidates to join our busy and demanding retail team. The three positions are focussed on Domestic Football, US Sports or Golf & Events. The aim of the role is to provide strategic leadership to a particular area of the business and to drive short and long-term sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leader of the internal business unit with responsibility for internal collaboration, resolving conflict and encouraging team work
  • Utilise internal functional areas of expertise including B&M, Marketing and E-commerce in order to inform decision making and achieve business objectives
  • To develop a short, medium and long-term strategy for the Partner business, in conjunction with internal functions and the partner.
  • This strategy is to be aligned with the wider Fanatics strategy.
  • Work with B&M to create a product strategy.
  • Where relevant, work with B&M to further exploit own-label development to improve margin.
  • Work with B&M to develop a Hot Market strategy.
  • Work with the Licensing/Wholesale Team to create an International Licensing & Wholesale Strategy.
  • Work with the partner to ensure collaboration on all aspects of retail strategy and tactics.
  • Ensure that all opportunities from partner and brand contracts are fully exploited.
  • Collaborate with technology team to develop product with goals of adding capabilities that improve the customer experience and increase conversion
  • Create a strategy with functional teams to deliver first class customer service
  • Assess internationalisation opportunities and work with other functions to understand feasibility and facilitate execution.
  • Work with partner to conduct market research to better inform strategy and tactics.
  • Create a CRM strategy for the partner business.
  • Lead weekly ‘Trading Meetings’ in order to improve performance.
  • Lead monthly ‘Review Meetings’ with the Partner business unit.
  • Co-ordinate partner sales, margin and costs forecasting.
  • Collaborate to develop and maintain marketing budgets and traffic and revenue forecasts.
  • Establish KPI’s to monitor overall health of the Partner business.
  • Lead regular business unit reviews of KPIs and Partner P&L, ensuring joint accountability.
  • To report into the Board on trading and Partner P&L performance.
  • Work with Business Development to attain broader and deeper rights from the partner.
  • Work with Business Development to improve future contracts.
Skills & Experience Required 
  • Experience of working in a merchandising, licensing, e-commerce and/or retail environment covering a number of disciplines 
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and gain buy in and credibility at all levels internally and externally
  • Experience of setting and working within budgets
  • Proven track record of success in delivering against P&L and KPI’s
  • Proven track record in a senior management role
