Research Associate to join our team in Beijing.
We work with a variety of prestigious clients, such as national &
international governing bodies, global sporting brands, clubs & events,
broadcasters, content owners and sports & entertainment marketing

database, a high profile website and a strong industry reputation, we are
able to source, attract and deliver talent across a spectrum from middle
management to Chief Executive and across a variety of functions, including
Sales & Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Media Production
& Distribution, Legal and Finance and Technical and Coaching.
Join us in China! Our China business has experienced significant growth
over the last three years and in the Asian region, we now operate in the
markets of Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand
from two offices - Beijing and Singapore
Develop candidate relationships via phone and face to face meetings.
Deliver in-depth market and candidate research for exclusive executive search assignments, retained recruitment assignments and selected contingency. projects across a range of disciplines and sectors within the sports, media and entertainment industries.
Work closely with both China and Singapore based colleagues and interact with Consultants based in our offices globally.
Development of a deep understanding of the sports, entertainment and media business sectors and key clients.
Development of proposals and client presentations (in Mandarin and English).
Desk-based and telephone research for identification of potential clients and candidates.
Candidate management including: organization and administration of interviews, candidates' application management.
Development of comprehensive research mapping documents and assignment activity reports.
Interview candidates, gaining deep understanding of their career history, career aspirations and character/culture ‘fit’.
Development of accurate, informative and relevant candidate interview reports.
Manage internal, global database and keep all candidate, client and assignment records up to date.
Contribute to the marketing activity within the region; e.g. hosting networking events and developing e-marketing mail outs.
Skills & Experience Required
A Graduate ideally in a business or HR related discipline with 2-3 years’ experience in executive search or recruitment. Of particular relevance will be experience in the sports, media or branded goods sectors.
Passionate about sport and the business of sport.
Fluent in Mandarin with excellent communication skills.
A natural at developing personal and professional relationships, a people person.
Organised and with a strong attention to detail.
Super resourceful and curious; an experienced user of the internet, on-line social networks and all MS-Office applications.
Experience operating within a CRM system is a real plus.
A strong team player, who truly believes in the premise that together everyone achieves more.
