A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of Europe's leading Sports Marketing Agencies. Football is the core part of their business, they cover the full range of the sports rights trade from stadium advertising, hospitality programs to shirt sponsorships, stadium consulting and sales of international TV rights. They are now looking to strengthen their hospitality team and are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven sales track record to sell their hospitality packages.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generating sales of Corporate Hospitality packages
  • Instigating and conducting face to face client meetings via research and telesales.
  • Responsibility for managing various sales initiatives to generate sales
  • Representing the agency at PR events, exhibitions, conferences etc
  • Accurate pipeline reporting on all aspects of the sales process
  • To build relationships with existing key clients, understanding their businesses and marketing needs.
  • To achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • To administer the client database

 

 

Your profile:

 

You are a sports and especially football minded team player with a strong knowledge of the sports industry. You are an experienced sales person with a proven sales track record of hitting targets.

 

  • Preferably experience within Corporate Hospitality sales however a recruitment and media sales background would also be advantageous
  • Thrives on working to targets
  • Sales, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to contribute to team activities and moral
  • Database management experience
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Hunger for sales and the desire to succeed
  • High level of customer focus and support
  • Excellent telephone and face to face sales skills
  • Creativity and initiative in a sales environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Diplomatic and tactful
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

 

As part of a small team, you will need to be able to be a self starter and have the drive to achieve targets and meet deadlines. A sense of humour is always a bonus as well!
