Liverpool FC is seeking a Commercial PR Manager to join their expanding team. This is a new and exciting PR role with the overall objective of raising the profile of the Club's commercial, business and partner marketing activity domestically and in chosen overseas countries. Your focus will be on maximising coverage in domestic and international trade sports, business and brand media. You will also identify suitable profile opportunities with business and sports conventions, trade shows and commercial expos.

      

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

• You will develop a multiple bandwidth domestic and international PR/media relations strategy for effectively communicating our commercial and partner marketing activity
• You will proactively maximize all PR opportunities to capitalise on our retail, hospitality and other business revenue streams (kit launches, hospitality, tourism, catering etc)
• You will be expected to work with our sponsors and other business Partners to add value and maximise all associated PR opportunities
• You will act as the initial point of contact for all media enquiries relating to our commercial and business activity

 

Skills, knowledge and qualifications required:

• You will be an experienced sports and business PR professional and have a track record of working successfully with a trade and specialist press.
• You will have an enviable track record of successfully managing a high profile PR programme of activity across several international countries that is measured and demonstrates added business value.
•  You will have a track record of working in a high profile environment and bring best in class PR practice together with thought leadership abilities.
