Global integrated marketing communications agency is looking for a fantastic Senior Account Executive, who is a specialist in Sports publicity to join their PR team, reporting to Director of Fashion & Lifestyle.  This person is likely to work across a number of accounts which will be disclosed during the process. 

 

The activity is heavily sport focussed including soccer, basketball and action sports initiatives and we will be looking for this individual to drive these accounts and have the ability to secure fantastic publicity.  Candidates must have an in-depth knowledge of sports, particularly around soccer.

 

Key responsibilities

• Excellent management of client relations ensuring first rate level of professional servicing at all times
• Take advantage of new business opportunities by identifying, progressing and upwardly managing these opportunities
• Proactively drive publicity for your clients beyond brief. Build strong media contacts and demonstrate advanced knowledge of media landscape
• Successfully organise media events including run up to the event, manage the design element; manage creation of invitations and e-invites through the creative process and effectively manage guest lists. 
• Create and manage budget planners, work with finance to create cost estimates and manage these through the processes. Ensure client sign off for any financial commitments and ensure projects remain within budget and all margins are met
• Demonstrate a broad understanding of the marketing environment e.g. how things effect your brands, marketing campaigns past and present
