Job Details

Our client is an innovative footwear brand committed to the design and production of both lightweight and sustainable footwear for all activities, from athletics to everyday wear. The role of Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing activity in support of brand development. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Brand Marketing

  • Propose and manage brand projects / campaigns directly in-line with business objectives
  • Assist in the implementation of assigned marketing projects 
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies to ensure profit growth and expansion of brand

 

Trade / Retail

  • Assist in the development and coordination of the appropriate POP support to all markets.
  • Manage distribution to sales and customers and control budgets and inventory 
  • Co-ordinate and assist in shop in shop installations with the sales teams, customers and suppliers
  • Assist in the implementation of retail and third party promotions

 

PR

  • Contribute to PR plan development in line with overall brand strategy and business objectives
  • Monitor and communicate achieved coverage / exposure
  • Develop and implement effectiveness measurements 
  • Manage press packs and sample requests

 

Sponsorship / Events / Trade Shows

  • Co-ordination and management of trade shows, liaising with sales management and exhibition organisers 
  • Co-ordination of brand events, with monitoring of KPI’s

 

Sales

  • Assist in producing sales teams promotional items and tools for sales support
  • Present marketing initiatives to retailers to enhance sales presentations and drive business objectives
  • Assist in managing sales and marketing conferences throughout Europe

 

Budgets

  • Monitor budget management and expenditure across assigned Marketing areas

 

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

  • At least two/three years marketing experience, preferably within a brand
  • Self motivated, self sufficient and disciplined
  • Business/Marketing qualification or able to evidence qualified by experience
  • CIM qualification desirable
  • Proven team player
  • Numerate and literate
  • Dynamic and creative individual with a practical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well organised and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to achieve deadlines

 

Travel across Europe and USA required.
