Background
WWE, a globally recognizable entertainment organization, seeks a Manager, Media & Distribution - EMEA to secure television content licenses across Europe, Middle East, and African television markets.
Based in London, the key responsibilities are as follows:

Secure content licenses (e.g. TV / PPV / VOD / IPTV / Mobile TV) across Europe, Middle East, and African television markets

Secure mobile content licenses across territory with mobile operators, mobile content aggregators, TV partners to launch mobile downloadable content

Work with International Distribution team to secure Movie licenses deployed over various platforms (Theatrical / DVD / TV / PPV / VOD / IPTV) across EMEA

Provide ongoing sales support to TV, Digital and Movie clients throughout the duration of each license

Continual and thorough prospecting and research across all EMEA markets and all platforms

Provide general support across the global TV, Digital and Movie business as it pertains to Affiliate Relations, Production, Programming, Marketing, Wireless, Live Events, Consumer Products, Finance, etc.

Liaise with internal senior executives on key initiatives as they arise

Liaise with International TV & Affiliate Relations team on new and current affiliate business status and track accordingly

Schedule and attend meetings at key trade conventions (Sportel, MIPCOM, NATPE, MIPTV, Discop, MWC, CTIA etc.)
Requirements:

3+ years in a sales role required; TV industry experience a plus

International experience and knowledge preferred

Experience working with different mobile technologies, WAP, MMS, SMS, Mobile Applications

Able to do extensive travel to prospective markets

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet)

Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation), interpersonal, and organizational skills

Proactive and able to work well independently using good business judgment

Strong analytical skills
