The Role / The Person

This position will provide Human Resources Generalist support for the company.  Reporting to the VP of Human Resources to ensure the successful implementation of company-wide initiatives and practices including on-boarding, training, employee relations and performance management, as well as effectively managing and administering HR programs, policies, processes and projects to enhance efficient employees’ performances.  Managing change management and organization development.

The role is  overall lead in ensuring the level of Human Resource function is consistent and prompt for all departments in Singapore and offices in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.


Main Responsibilities

 

Organisation Development:

  • Develop and implement a companywide an employee’s rewards and recognition programme
  • Accountable for developing and executing human resources plans and programs including but not limited to: Training, Salary Administration, Employee Relations, Performance Management etc
  • Provides coaching and counselling to managers Re: performance management topics; and is the driver in the annual review process
  • To provide advice to the ESS Managers on local and regional employee issues.
  • Prepare and present training events and briefing sessions
  • Establish new HR initiatives in conjunction with VP, HR and implement

 

Reporting & Budgetary:

  • Submission of monthly headcount board reporting
  • Actively participate in annual headcount request and planning exercise on companywide basis

 

Adhoc:

  • Special Projects as directed by VP, HR


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree in HR Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years HR experience
  • Good knowledge of prevailing HR practices, trends and developments, labour law and regulations of the respective country
  • Mature and able to relate to people at all levels
  • Self driven, strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet set goals
  • A team player and self-motivation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Sophisticated approach to collaborative team working, including the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills, persuasive with credible influencing skills.
