The Australian Turf Club (ATC) was founded in February 2011 marking a new era for Racing in NSW and Australia. The ATC is the merger of two historic racing bodies in NSW - the Australian Jockey Club and the Sydney Turf Club. As a result of the merger, the ATC will enjoy increased efficiency and leadership for Horse Racing in the State. The ATC will also benefit from an injection of funding from the NSW Government, the TAB and Racing NSW to improve facilities at Rosehill and Royal Randwick. The upgrade at Royal Randwick is set to be completed in 2013 and will create a world class racing and entertainment centre.
The ATC conducts more than 120 race meetings each year across four venues: Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Warwick Farm and Canterbury Park. The now combined Sydney Carnival will become the ultimate thoroughbred racing and sales experience in the southern hemisphere; a modern classic embracing the 200 year heritage of the sport and will celebrate the colour and energy of contemporary racing. Collectively the ATC entertains over 500,000 members, owners, sponsors and public on race-days each year. The club has a Membership of over 14,000 and boasts a stellar line-up of corporate partners, sponsors and hospitality clients including News Limited, Lion Nathan Australia, BMW, Tabcorp, Myer, David Jones and Moet and Hennesy.
Building on the tremendous foundations of the AJC and STC that capitalising on the opportunities of being acombined entity the ATC is looking to build one of the greatest sporting clubs in Australia. They seek a Consumer Insights & Strategy Manager who will support the Chief Operating Officer and entire Commercial team on strategy and research, and act as key support in the execution of ad hoc projects across the group.
The role will support all Marketing, Brand & Membership Strategies incorporating research and financial analysis that drives specific customer focused product and consumer segmentation initiatives. The role will;
