Lancashire County Cricket Club is a prestigious International and County cricket organisation with ambition and commitment to develop a World Class cricketing and entertainment venue.  We are focused on continuing to provide the highest standards of excellence at all levels of cricket from “playground to Test arena”.

Our Cricket Centre offers 5 lanes of indoor facilities for players of all ages and abilities throughout the North West of England.  The facilities allow for the most up-to-date coaching and practice sessions.  The centre caters for any age and cricketing ability, in an environment which focuses on the requirements of the customer.

We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to manage the indoor centre.  As the Cricket Centre Manager you will have responsibility for all aspects of the management of the centre, including cricket, finance, health and safety, workforce, marketing and promotions, continually monitoring and evaluating its performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The efficient operation of the cricket centre.
  • Financial management, setting budgets, managing and controlling the centre’s finances.
  • Management of staff, both permanent and casual.Develop and oversee the delivery of cricket courses for all abilities, age groups and disabilities.
  • Accommodate the requirements of International, Professional and elite development squads.
  • To market and promote the cricket centre.
  • Involvement in community based sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Educational partnerships with schools, colleges and universities.
  • To be considered you must have a strong sporting/leisure management background, ideally with experience of managing a similar facility, with an understanding of sports coaching structures and principles.


You must be able to demonstrate experience in financial planning/budgetary control, sales and marketing, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear understanding of customer needs.
