The role of Sales Director will plan, deliver and implement the brand’s sales strategy, achieving significant brand growth across all territories.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Sales

Deliver overall sales budget to plan

Ensure gross margin is maintained

Manages distribution contracts and distributors to plan. Ensure payment terms and customer credits
-
Manage Asia sales organization.

Find and deliver new distributors for new territories
-
Agree on sales plan by territory and category
-
Phone each distributor every week and keeps a record by customer
-
Merchandising and POS order responsibility
-
Provide sales tools for each distributor, working with marketing team to ensure timely distribution.
Wholesale Sales
-
Deliver overall sales budget to plan.

Ensure gross margin is maintained

Produce and achieve a KA hit-list, bringing in new big accounts that can deliver volume for the business
Planning
-
Provide 3 year sales projection plan by territory and category
-
Develop category management segmentation across entire business. Devise distribution plan based on this category management.

Work with Marketing Director to develop comprehensive whole and retail support plans
-
Working with each territory develop a GTM strategy to ensure full maximsation of opportunities
Reporting
-
Produce international wholesale reports with gross margin (excluding UK & USA)

Distributor deals / plans

Stock OTB – coordinated with UK & USA

Purchase orders / order confirmations
Stock Management

Provide seasonal stock clearance plans

Identify new partners and finalize deals

Liquidate seasonal stock each season to agreed levels with Finance team.

Manage international wholesale stock to sensible levles
Product
-
Provide feedback on product opportunities

Work on submitting design briefs with AMC and marketing team
Management

Directly responsible for managing the UK sales team and ASIA sales organization

In direct responsibility for US sales team

Organizes and manages exhibitions and trade shows. Delivering a positive ROI in each instance.
Timetable & Forecasting

Works with supply chain manager to ensure that all orders are confirmed and placed to the factory on time

Checks weekly each customer receives their orders on time
-
Customer queries are promptly and courteously answered
Skills & Experince Required
-
At least 5 years Sales management experience within a brand
-
Proven track record in delivering results
-
Experience within footwear / clothing sector and knowledge of accounts essential
-
International experience desirable
-
Degree or equivalent qualification
-
