The Singapore National Stadium is the centre piece of the Singapore Sports Hub due to be completed in April 2014. The Executive Suites and Club (Premium) Seats, located at the Stadium will form the National Stadium 'Club'.

World Sport Group (WSG) is responsible for the development of these products and this department, and subsequently the marketing, sales and service of the Memberships for 25 years.

As the Head of Sales for the National Stadium Club, this individual will be responsible for all activities related to this membership department and running a sales team of 6-8. 

The candidate must have a very strong working knowledge of the Premium Seating industry and have worked on large-scale Stadium or Arena projects that are in development mode.

This individual must be results oriented and understand the fundamental requirements to drive a successful sales force. 

 

Duties and Areas of Responsibility:

  • Product development for the National Stadium Club (Executive Suites and Club Seats)
  • Department development and team management
  • Marketing and Sales – sales management and direct sales
  • Operations, contract compliance, and finance


Job Specifications: 

  • Work closely with the SVP of Stadiums & Arenas to develop the structure, systems integration, marketing and sales plan, operations, and servicing program of the National Stadium Club department
  • Creatively look to enhance the National Stadium Club proposition and promote the brand in the market as an elite “membership club”
  • Develop a marketing and on-sale strategy for the sale of Executive Suites and Club Seats
  • Developing a strong and polished sales team based in Singapore
  • Oversee all operations of the Presentation Centre, multi-media tools (Ballena), collateral material development, website and other marketing tools
  • Secure target data and manage this data through the CRM program
  • Finalise contract templates, payment systems and accounting procedures for the National Stadium Club
  • Lead and manage the sales process and deliver on all sales targets
  • Develop a thorough servicing department including the development of a renewal programme strategy
  • Manage the collection of all revenue streams and tracking systems
  • Coordinate with the SportsHub Consortium and operator (Global Spectrum) on all activities


Requirements:

  • College/University Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in the sports premium seating and/or hospitality industry
  • Experience of developing/managing a sales team
  • High level of communication and presentation skills
  • CRM experience (preferably MS Dynamics)
