Job Details

Our client, a leading global sports company, requires a Licensing Manager to be based in their Brazil offices. The successful candidate will grow and develop the company's licensing business, maximising existing contracts and exploring any new business opportunities both in Brazil and Internationally. They will also have charge of maximising the Brand in the region.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in licensing business preferably in Brazil, in the Football Clubs and/or with a major Rights Holders. The candidate will have to be perfectly fluent in English and Portuguese as well.

 

Job Description

Licensing partners:

  • Work to renew existing contracts
  • Negotiate new contracts evaluating new business opportunities
  • Work to grow the strategic relations between the licensees thru “retention programs” and frequent visit to key partners
  • Yearly workshop/conventions to communicate market development and business conditions/opportunities.

 

Products:

  • Manage the use of the style guide by the licensees
  • Coordinate fight anti counterfeit

 

Distribution:

  • Responsible for commercial agreements between Licensees and Stores

 

Budget:

  • Responsible for Royalties statements and cash collecting
  • Responsible for licensing budget and Targets
  • Work with finance manager for any credit issues with licensees

 

The position will be based in Brazil with numerous travel days.
