Background
The Football Association is the governing body of football in England. It was formed in 1863 and is the oldest national football association. Based at Wembley Stadium, London, it is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the game of football in England, both professional and amateur.
Job Purpose
-
To provide support across key accounts of The FA 2010-2014 sponsorship programme
-
Facilitate delivery of the contractual obligations
-
To work as a key part of the Sponsorship team in developing the future England, FA Cup, Grassroots and Wembley sponsorship framework
-
To support the Sponsorship team in the generation of presentations, reports and general administration functions
Key Accountabilities
-
Develop the relationship with key personnel at each of the sponsors and ensure the contractual delivery of rights

Liaise internally with key internal partners (eg. Events,Communications,Broadcast) to ensure efficient and effective lines of communication between the sponsors and The FA

Responsible for the FA Trophy appearance calendar and bookings and the relationship with Cavendish Risk Management

Manage sponsor ticketing requests, as well as match day activities including programme advertisements, signage and big screen activity across all England matches

Manage the ticketing requirements for Budweiser and The FA across all FA Cup rounds and the Player of the Round FA Cup Final event

Responsible for booking and managing all England Legend appearances for sponsors

Support the Head of Sponsorship and Sponsorship Managers across all FA partners when required

Assist the development of new Sponsorship opportunities

Desirable Skills

Proven ability and experience in Sponsorship/Account Management or Sports Marketing

Experience in commercial contracts involving rights negotiation and delivery

Educated to Degree level or alternative Strong and relevant commercial skills

Experience of working with broadcasters and the media
