Since the company’s inception three years ago, PrettyGreen has looked to build a sport division which can rival the bigger agencies with a truly creative approach and a more personal touch delivering excellent quality of work. They currently work with some leading brands such as Red Bull and Under Armour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide creative and strategic consultation to clients to develop unique and impactful campaigns
• Develop impactful and innovative media strategies that will engage the sport media and promote sport to a wider mainstream media
• Develop and present strategic recommendations, project evaluations and bi-annual reviews
• Oversee client budgets and fees, working closely with finance to manage efficient billing
• Oversee the smooth-running of daily media reports, status reports, evaluation services and media enquiries integral to the day-to-day running of the account
• Work in partnership with client’s agencies to develop a holistic and integrated strategy across all media platforms
• Highlight opportunities within the industry to bring in new clients, whist facilitating the growth of business and fee for current clients
• Participate in pitching for new business (both sport and cross company accounts)
• Look for opportunities to profile and present PrettyGreen in industry awards

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum of five-six years solid PR experience working within the sport remit
• Personal interest and exceptional knowledge of sport
• Experience of working with athletes and rights-holders
• Experience of news distribution across all media, including emerging media e.g. digital platforms
• Experience of client and team management
• Ability to influence and inspire
• Strong self-starter
• Good time-keeping
• Organised, driven and results orientated
• Adaptable and flexible to change at the last minute
• Solid sports and lifestyle media contacts
• Excellent presenting skills
• Highly creative with an ability to provide solutions under pressure
