Background

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of Europe's leading Sports Marketing Agencies who specialise within football.

 

Football is the core part of their business, they cover the full range of the sports rights trade from stadium advertising, hospitality programs to shirt sponsorships, stadium consulting and sales of international TV rights. They are now looking to strengthen their sponsorship team and are looking for a highly motivated individual with a proven background within sponsorship activation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute program activation strategies
  • Work across a multitude of activity, assisting in the delivery of project planning, on site activation, budgeting and administration.
  • Ensure that work produced meets all objectives set, is done by the agreed time to the highest  standard and achieves the best possible results for the company and clients
  • Assist in the development of creative ideas, undertaking research as requested to ensure  they are possible to implement within specific parameters and budget.
  • Be involved in the research of feasibility of ideas generated
  • Contribute to cross agency activity – brainstorms etc


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience within sponsorship activation and preferably within sport
  • Ability to juggle a number of tasks at once and consistently deliver high-quality work to tight  timescales
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, rights  owners etc..
  • Ability to think round issues by providing solutions, not problems!
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong project management skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Calm under pressure
  • Able to travel where necessary to events
  • Acceptance of some anti-social/long hours depending on the nature of the event
  • Client meetings & other internal client communications
  • Full event reporting / review presentations
  • Research, analysis & evaluations
  • High level PowerPoint skills, good knowledge of Excel & Outlook
