The company is at the forefront of network solutions and services in the digital world. Arqiva provides much of the infrastructure behind television, radio, satellite and wireless communications in the UK and has a significant presence in Ireland, mainland Europe and the USA.

Customers include major broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV, BSkyB and the independent radio groups, major telco providers including the UK's five mobile network operators, and the emergency services.

This vacancy is in the Arqiva Occasional Use division of the Broadcast & Media business unit which delivers the complete distribution solution, wherever and whenever it's needed, for a range of customers including sports, entertainment and news.


Key Responsibilities

The key purpose of the role is to manage and develop a number of key accounts for Arqiva whilst maintaining a level of new business development. Clients are likely to include Sports Rights Holders, Federations, Broadcasters and sports rights agencies.

  • You will be expected to follow up on referrals/leads, collating and submitting Response to Tender documents, liaising with bookings teams and checking availability of services
  • Assist the team to achieve sales targets. Responding to and keeping in touch with customers via phone and email. Respond to out-of-hours call from internal colleagues/customers when necessary
  • Travel to customer meetings locally or abroad, to attend sales meetings/monthly review meetings and to exhibitions globally. Project-manage events
  • Keep abreast on industry knowledge (competitors/customers) via research or social functions Keep abreast of new developments/products, both internally and externally
