Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a proven ability to work on Euro 2012 in a logistics/ticketing function for a highly reputable sponsorship agency. The 14th UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Poland and Ukraine from 8th June to 1st July 2012.
Key Responsibilities
Pre Event – Logistics:-

Manage all communications and requirements with all suppliers, specifically official travel agent, and local DMC

Recruit staffing agencies (to recruit local hostesses), and oversee all uniform and training requirements
Pre Event – Guest Registration / Reporting:
-
Ensure you have a full understanding of the day to day workings of the system

Manage all training and induction around the system with stakeholders, including the development of a detailed training manual/presentation

Develop a thorough understanding of the clients ticket allocation plans, and ensure that all ticket distribution is in line with the clients objectives and desires

On-going communication with internal stakeholders to understand, support and respond to their enquiries

Ensure all tickets are catalogued and tracked throughout the tournament.

Ensure and manage security of the tickets from when they are released from UEFA, to when they are given to a guest. You will work with the Project Director to develop an effective ticket sign-in/sign-out system.
At Event – Logistics:

Meet with all suppliers and re-confirm all requirements

Carry out hostess training sessions

Work with comms team to manage ticket distribution process for each match

Manage transport requirements with Logistic Managers in Poland & Ukraine for all guests

Work closely with appointed transport company to ensure seamless delivery of all transport for guests during the tournament
Skills & Experience Required

A technologically savvy candidate

Strong Excel and powerpoing skill is a must!!!!

Poven experience in sport sponsorship, with a specific focus on ticketing and guest registration and management

Experience handling with and managing large volumes of information/guests

Engaging and amicable ‘team-player’ who can perform under pressure

Strong yet diplomatic person who is confident in negotiating and agreeing deals with suppliers.

Willingness to work flexible work hours, including weekends when required

Willingness to undertake international travel, and be based in Poland and Ukraine for 6-8 weeks in May/June 2012

Clean driving license. All candidates must be confident to drive Poland and Ukraine.
