Key Responsibilities

The position is European Account Manager and the key responsibilities include:

  • Managing existing distributors - this includes ensuring they are well trained in both the technology and in translating the benefits of the products to professional sporting teams
  • Negotiating key deals - The Manager will need to assist distributors in established markets and directly in new markets
  • Finding new distributors - a key function of this position is to grow the European distribution network, finding partners and channels that can ensure further growth and develop new opportunities.
  • Marketing Catapult Sports - the European Account Manager will need to create and execute a marketing plan for the region, establishing and increasing the profile and awareness of the Company and its range of products amongst professional sporting teams and associations around Europe

 

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • A proven successful sales performer - Strong sales skills required to assist distributors in effecting sales in established markets, and an ability to generate sales, directly in new markets. You will also be able to demonstrate sales results working autonomously to achieve these goals
  • Existing and established networks in professional sport
  • Technically proficient
  • Flexibility - The candidate will be mature and stable, and be able to travel weekly . The successful candidate will also be required to spend two weeks in Australia initially and then a week twice a year.


Desired:

  • A strong preference will be given to those candidates whose sporting contracts are from within the strength and conditioning, and coaching departments of clubs/associations.
