Founded in 1866, Harlequins is one of the oldest Rugby Clubs in England and their iconic shirt and brand is one of the most recognised global brands in sport. They are currently enjoying huge success on the pitch and sit at the top of the Aviva premiership table, have a number of key players in the revitalised England team, and can boast having the England captain in their squad.
As a result, Quins have recently announced the implementation of a new management restructure to strengthen its resources and capitalise on current and future commercial opportunities and to ensure their long term sustainability. This involves the introduction of a number of new positions across the Commercial and Administrative team, from executive through to director level placements.
The Role
The Season Ticket Sales Executive will co-ordinate and project lead marketing, customer experience and community input to produce an excellent and unique season ticket offerings that adds exceptional value to our most loyal fans.
Key Responsibilities

Develop 3 year sales and marketing strategy with Commercial Director to deliver on budget and business plan growth in Season Ticket sales

Develop new and sustainable vertical markets for Season Ticket sales e.g. Armed forces, Amateur rugby teams, Council , Parents of Minis etc

To create, with the Commercial Director, agreed mechanisms to accurately report on sales prospects, conversions, repeat visitors etc

Work with other internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain a co-ordinated contact database

Engage in new business and strategic selling initiatives to achieve STH sales targets

Work closely with marketing and other business teams to create

Deliver, with teams in marketing, communication and CRM, a relevant and specific communications plan to include messaging, topics for discussion, dinners with the club, quarterly town hall meetings, season ticket areas on the website etc

Embed, with our customer experience team a culture of continuous improvement and capturing our customers insight by developing mechanisms that the whole club can use
Skills and Experience Required

Proven track record in successful B2C sales

Excellent cold calling and new business generation skills

Diligent and accurate reporter of sales information with good attention to detail and accuracy

Strong commercial acumen

Excellent communicator, negotiator and writer

Proven problem solver - someone who will own an issue until it is resolved

Competent budget owner

The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, sales databases)
