AC Milan China
Founded in 1899, AC Milan (Associazione Calcio Milan) is an Italian football club based in Milan, Lombardy. Nicknamed the Rossoneri, AC Milan play their home games in the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan and have played for most of their history in Serie A – the top flight of Italian football.
AC Milan are one of the most successful clubs in the world with 18 league titles and 18 officially recognised UEFA and FIFA titles. In recent years, AC Milan has won the Supercoppa Italiana in 2016, the Serie A title in 2010–11 as well as the UEFA Champions League during the 2006–07.
In 2016, original Italian owners Fininvest agreed a deal with Chinese group Sino-Europe Sports Investment Management Changxing (SES) transferring ownership of the club. SES, backed by Haixa Capital and Yonghong Li formally took control of the club in March 2017 and is the biggest-ever Chinese investment in a European club.
In November 2016, SRi partnered with AC Milan to assist with their China team set up. Following successful hires of Marcus KAM as China CEO and Robbie Yang as the Head of Marketing, AC Milan is keen to secure a Head of Commercial into the team.
The Head of Commercial will have responsibility for AC Milan China’s commercial operations and revenue generating activities and identifying new business opportunities. The role reports to the CEO, AC Milan China.
