Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is the world’s most active cricket club, the owner of Lord’s Ground and the guardian of the Laws of the game.
Founded in 1787, it has been recognised as the sole authority on the Laws of Cricket since its foundation and it moved to its current home at Lord’s in 1814.
MCC plays more matches than any other cricket club – around 480 against schools, universities and clubs in the UK, and between 20 and 30 as part of its overseas touring programme which aims to develop cricket abroad.
To support MCC in the implementation of the digital strategy and management of digital channels.
The Digital Producer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Lords.org, including product development and analysis of digital activity.
They will work with the marketing team to improve the quality, reach and engagement of the Club’s content through data-led insights.
Day-to-day management and monitoring of Lords.org.
Management of website agency and product development projects.
Monitoring, analysing and managing website traffic including customer journey and behaviour
Work with and under the direction of the Marketing and Digital Content Manager to ensure content and social media channels are performing to expected standards.
Drive forward the Club’s digital strategy and continuously seek to improve the digital customer experience.
Ensure key internal stakeholders and team members have a full understanding of social media goals
Monitor trends and encourage adoption of social media tools.
Develop and monitor the digital content calendar.
Work on campaign based digital marketing initiatives to drive revenues for the Club.
Work with the Commercial Partnerships team to encourage commercial activation for the Club’s key partners through digital channels.
Deliver formal and ad-hoc training and support to MCC staff in web content management systems and procedures, online publishing tools, information architectures, metadata, and writing for the web.
Attend at all Major Matches with extended hours as appropriate, including weekends.
Any other duties as required whether in the Department or elsewhere around the Ground.
