Leeds United are a professional football club based in West Yorkshire whose home ground is Elland Road. They are an ambitious Championship club who under new ownership and guidance are looking to build on previous successes both on and off the field.
The Grassroots Scheme is an initiative to encourage groups of young people to attend matches at Elland Road together, to experience the live atmosphere of the games. Discounted match tickets are available for this scheme along with a cash back mechanism that allows junior clubs to raise much needed revenues for their clubs or groups.
The Club is now seeking to grow this initiative and target additional groups including local businesses.
The Sales & Promotion Executive is a committed professional in selling, communicating, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The executive will also manage the delivery of the Grassroots Junior Scheme activities on match days which include player mascots, guard of honour, giant center circle banner and pitch parade.
The ability to prospect and cold call are essential duties for this position, and it requires an individual who is a self-starter, innovative, and motivated to develop new business.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once are paramount to this position. In order to maintain strong group sales, it is vital that the Sales and Promotion Executive meets all the targets related to making sales calls, networks, and meeting new businesses within the community representing Leeds United presented within the market.
