Territory Sales Manager VIC – Kukri Sports

Kukri Sports is an international sportswear manufacturer supplying bespoke teamwear for over 100 sports.  The DNA of Kukri Sports dates back to 1979 when the British Army Gurkhas and RAF joined together to create a stronger rugby club, the Flying Kukris.  Their mission from the outset was to give clubs a choice, an identity, and for them to be proud of their team colours.

Kukri operate locally, nationwide and globally as part of the JD Sports group in the United Kingdom, with only a handful of other such players in the market.  This global infrastructure provides Kukri with a range of benefits and security. The role

As Territory Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of Kukri’s dealings with potential and existing customers and will be the first contact that many people have with the business.  Your sales activity and region will be in Victoria but may include trips to other States.


  • Maintain and develop an existing client base and build sales in your territory.
  • Target new business opportunities which will be achieved by having a proactive approach and being well researched and knowledgeable of your region.
  • Plan visits effectively to cover key accounts and be proficient with negotiation of contractual arrangements for new business, renewals and upselling opportunities.
  • Financial acumen, forecasting, accurate order management and reporting.


  • You will have very high standards of customer service, brand building, marketing initiatives, relationship management and a sales growth track record.
  • Sports apparel product expertise with a preference to those with Teamwear experience.
  • Extensive network and authentic relationships amongst schools, universities and sports clubs.
