Marketing Partnerships Director – GinxTV


Ginx TV is a London-based international media company, dedicated to the creation of esports TV channels around the world.  The rapidly growing GINX Esports TV channel is currently available in over 45 million households in 80 international markets in 9 languages. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sponsorships sales individual. The key objective of the role is to bring in sponsorship revenues but also to work with our commercial partners to extend the Ginx brand. You will be passionate about games and have a strong interest in esports. You will have a solid strategic grasp on how television and associated social and digital sponsorships are sold and you will have worked (sports-) television sponsorship sales for a minimum of 3 years and be ‘restless’, outgoing and dynamic.


  • Work with both endemic esports brands as well as new brands that are targeting this space to grow our sponsorship revenue.
  • Work with the production and social/digital marketing team to extend TV sponsorships onto our digital platforms.
  • Work with the marketing team to amplify our sponsorships with influencers, esports players and teams.
  • The UK is a key territory, but you will also be responsible for international sponsorship across the multiple channel feeds.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of and passion for (sports)television, esports, video- and mobile gaming.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with high pressure environment of a fast-growing international company.
  • Proactive, highly motivated team player, great work ethos; highly organised and meticulous planner.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional sponsorship sales experience in an esports environment at a TO, team or publisher or at a (sports)television channel. You will have excellent relationships at UK marketing director level at key brands such as: Intel, Audi, Monster Energy, Visa, Paypal, Dell, HP and others.
  • You will have sold television sponsorships in a previous role.
  • International (outside UK) experience desirable.

Our offices are just north of King’s Cross on a small industrial estate and are part of the Tileyard campus. There are 30 of us and our organisation is flat as a pancake (you get that with a Dutch CEO). Being an early stage company, the Marketing Partnerships role will very much be hands-on, sleeves rolled-up. You should not be above performing menial tasks or turn your nose up at frequent unsociable hours. The esports industry is growing up fast, but expect some rough edges.
