Partner Performance Analyst

Partner Performance Analyst – Sport England

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the Core Market Performance Management Team in this newly created role. To support the year-round performance management and analysis of the Core Market portfolio of investments.

Working with the Head of Performance Management the Partner Performance Analyst will help to identify and address poor service from suppliers to the Core Market consumer and identify and share good performance, adding value to the way that partners support individuals to stay active for as long as they want to, whatever happens in their lives.

You will have proven experience in managing and interpreting data across portfolios to make performance improvement recommendations. Experience of identifying issues and developing creative solutions, managing and delivering projects, and in building and developing effective relationships to drive change. It will help in the success of the role if you have an understanding of evaluation methodologies and their practical applications, and a general understanding of the sport and physical activity landscape, but is not essential.

Skills & Experience


  • Experience of managing and interpreting data to make performance management recommendations
  • Ability to make recommendations based on knowledge and understanding of key financial and performance drivers in business
  • Experience of identifying issues and developing creative solutions
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects on time and to budget
  • Experience of building and developing effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability deliver clear written or verbal reports in order to effectively influence stakeholders
  • A proven ability to work flexibly to prioritise and manage workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel


  • Experience of designing, implementing and managing portfolio performance management systems.
  • Experience of using and analysing performance reports to instigate change where needed.
  • Understanding of evaluation methodologies and their practical application
  • General understanding of the sport and physical activity landscape
