Partnerships Sales Executive – Swansea City AFC

Swansea City AFC are recruiting an individual within Partnership Sales to support outbound sales aspects of the club’s partnership sales division.

Core Duties

  • Sell existing sponsorship opportunities, from general advertising through to Official Club Partnerships
  • Identify new category/brand trends within industry and negotiate sales pipeline
  • Source and converse with relevant decision maker at potential sponsors (both UK and Globally)
  • Creation of new commercial products and an ability deliver to marketplace
  • Assist other departments in selling their potential assets to sponsors i.e. digital assets
  • Assist partnership sales team in overall sales efforts
  • Liaise with Partnership Sales Coordinator to post-sale to ensure smooth handover, and all sponsor components are communicated effectively
  • Support the pre-sale efforts of partnership group
    • Produce sponsorship sales literature
    • Coordinate production of sponsorship proposals
  • Assist the Partnership Sales Coordinator in the day-to-day relationship with current club partners (where necessary)
    • Production of sponsors assets i.e. advertising boards etc
    • Any activation’s within club partner packages

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in selling in to businesses of all sizes
  • Experience on negotiating with Senior Executives/Decision Makers
  • An ability to multi-task and handle competing demands
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional notes

  • The candidate must be willing to work weekends and nights when needed based upon the club’s fixtures
