Who we are

The Teqball Group is a fast growing business, which has carved out a niche segment of the sports  equipment market by creating an innovative sport (‘Teqball’) and patented multifunctional apparatus (‘Teqboard’). Teqball is played upon the Teqboard, and the Teqboard is also used for training and  developing numerous sporting skills.

The Group manufactures and supplies the highly-engineered Teqboard, which comprises a curved table and rigid net over which a ball is played, and has quickly established a strong brand and product image due to the high quality and innovative award-winning design. Teqball is a new, fast growing, football-based sport, with the long-term aim of becoming an Olympic  sport.

The Teqboard also provides an excellent training tool for professional footballers as well as amateur enthusiasts, and can be used to develop technical skills, concentration and stamina.

Teqball is the purest type of football, since there is no physical contact between the players, and therefore injury risk is largely reduced also positioning the Teqboard as a great tool for player and athlete rehabilitation.

Teqball is not football’s rival but rather its complement. Teqball enhances players’ confidence, perfects their passing techniques and develops decision making skills not to mention the so-called ‘first touch’ moves that are more than essential in modern-day football.

What we are seeking

We are seeking a Sales Director to develop Teqball’s global sales strategy and lead the sales team.
The sales team is based in Dublin, however the role will involve an element of international travel and liaising with professional sports clubs, federations, sports ambassadors and other commercial customers.


  • Develop, implement and execute global sales strategies across key territories.
  • Present the sales  strategy to the senior board and agree annual sales targets.
  • Manage the sales team and continue to build the department as required.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new Distributors in key markets, and working with them to grow sales and brand awareness in the market.
  • Produce quarterly KPI reports and present to the senior board.
  • Close communication and management of the marketing department to ensure a high return on marketing spend.
  • Continue to expand the network and exposure of Teqball on a global basis.
  • Maintain key relationships with global ambassadors along with the sales and marketing strategies.
  • Travel will be expected to meet key account customers, professional football club representatives and sports ambassadors.


  • 5+ years’ Sales experience (sports industry and international sales experience a plus)
  • Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing, Merchandising or Product Management
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and routes to market (particularly B2B)
  • Experience in managing sales teams and sales departments KPI’s
  • Ability to analyse sales trends and amend strategy accordingly and effectively control inventory flow
  • Knowledge and experience of selling to key sports retailers in Europe
  • A good network of contacts (e.g. sports retailer buyers, trading directors and/or specialist distributors to the sports retail channel) in order to make fast inroads in this channel and build broad distribution


  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Fluency in English (any other language is a plus)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proven ability to meet sales and profitability targets
  • Willingness to travel and to work in a global team of professionals
