Senior Account Manager (Licensed Sports Apparel) – ISC Sport

ISC Sport is a leading international apparel brand within the licensing industry. ISC is synonymous with some of the biggest sporting teams, both in Australia and the UK/Europe. We pride ourselves on our ability to design and produce technical apparel ranges for elite athletes as well as their supporters.

An exciting opportunity is available for a driven Senior Account Manager. This is an autonomous role needing a person with exceptional communication skills, a high attention to detail and a personality that thrives on multi-tasking and business process management.

The successful candidate will be working in a small team within the Licensing department and will be responsible for the day to day management of all apparel requirements for many high-profile sporting clubs and customers, mainly in the AFL and NRL industry.

This role is broad and will encompass a number of different facets including general customer service, presentation of new ranges and products to key accounts, planning of yearly retail programs as well as a high level of administration and accounting with our internal systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the management of key accounts (licensed programs) from the day to day communication through to the management of their yearly programs.
  • Build and maintain a strong business relationship with existing clients, licensors and other key stakeholders.
  • Working with Sales team to plan and execute the merchandise plan to meet financial targets.
  • Analysis of performance at product and channel level.
  • Leverage additional revenue streams via existing key accounts and expand networks where opportunities arise.
  • Presenting of new ranges and products to key accounts.
  • Working with NRL and AFL clubs’ retail buying teams.
  • Implementation of the design and approval processes for product ranges.
  • Management of internal ordering, reporting and tracking system (AP21).

Experience required:

  • Expertise in apparel product management, preferably from sports/lifestyle industry.
  • Range assortment planning and presenting of seasonal collections to key customers with a focus on sell through, forecasting, buying and on time delivery.
  • Relevant account servicing, sales and relationship management experience.
  • Evidence of product and sales analysis, financial management and budget planning.
  • Knowledge of the apparel product development lifecycle.
  • A genuine interest in sports apparel and sport in general, including an understanding of the Australian sports landscape

Essential competencies:

  • Presentation and negotiation.
  • Superior attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Organisational and time management.
  • Proficiency in business process and systems – in particular Excel.

Desired requirements:

  • Previous experience with AP21 or other apparel software systems.
  • Experience in licensed products.
  • Experience in retail sales.
