Territory Representative – Swimwear

The Role

Drive swimwear & accessories sales in the UK, by maintaining & growing existing business & identifying and converting new business where authorised. To understand the swimwear brand as a whole and to become an expert in the brands swimwear.

Manage a designated portfolio of customers, promoting the swimwear brand to an account base of Sporting Goods and Internet retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Finalising and execute strategic business plans with top 5 accounts, effectively manage the interface between the customer and the brands swimwear UK business.
  • Completing product presentations and apply the swimwear suggested range segmentation appropriate to the defined account base
  • Analysing performance Vs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis, seeking out revenue generating opportunities to ensure that company targets are met
  • Effectively liaising with the Finance department regarding credit and payment terms, together with the Customer services department regarding deliveries, customer services and order book management.
  • Ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of the market, competing brands, customers profile and needs within the market place.
  • Co-ordinating with marketing department with regards to promotional activity, staff training, ensuring the swimwear brand is visible at the point of purchase, promoting sell-through
  • Other ad-hoc duties as advised by management

Qualifications & Skills

  • Basic knowledge of territory management
  • Ideally, previous knowledge of the swimwear market and UK Sports Trade
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of fabric construction, features and benefits
  • Proactive, able to plan and prepare workload to maximise opportunities and work to deadlines
  • Prepared to travel (clean driving licence required)
  • Basic knowledge of territory management
  • Ideally, previous knowledge of the swimwear market and UK Sports Trade
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of fabric construction, features and benefits
  • Proactive, able to plan and prepare workload to maximise opportunities and work to deadlines
  • Prepared to travel (clean driving licence required)
  • Excellent skills in spoken communication, active listening, planning and organisation, tenacity, persuasion and self-motivation
  • Previous Territory of Account Management experience
  • Experience of handling and managing both multiple and single store accounts
