Vice President, Sales, EMEA


The VP of Sales EMEA will ensure that The Legends Way of world-class people, process, execution, and culture are being delivered for each of their current partners. To date Legends has an incredible track record of performance for each of their partners. Continuing to deliver as we expand our growth is critical to our sustained success.

With a solid foundation established, Legends Global Sales is positioned for further growth in the EMEA region. VP of Sales EMEA will also play a key role in sourcing new business opportunities and making 360 presentations. This requires owning the content, understanding the environment, and delivering dynamic presentations to C-Level executives. Operationally, they will be accountable to ensure all of the content and material remains current, reflecting Legends’ standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create business plan for execution – including target partners/markets, projected revenues and expenses, business development initiatives (including pitch story), staffing plans, ongoing support, and continued development for each property. Collaborate with CEO and COO EMEA on final plan to present to President, Global Sales
  • Oversee the recruiting and hiring process for each of the properties. This includes identifying bench strength at each of our properties and proactive recruiting of talent in the sports industry outside of Legends Properties
  • Focus on creating turnkey sales processes that includes a seamless transition plan to on-site leadership after the initial strategy set-up
  • Work closely with internal partners in forecasting and allocating resources for business development opportunities, as well as continuing to optimize existing business
  • Dig in and be hands on in cultivating the relationship with the clients, continuing to evolve our process to stay ahead of the ever changing business
  • Forecast timely and accurate sales activity, revenue achievement, and update activity/prospect status in weekly sales meeting
  • Develop an environment that fosters the development of future managers and leaders that will be able to run their own property as we continue to grow
  • Achieve sales quota through hiring talented and capable individuals and providing the proper strategy and support to all of our properties
  • Cultivate an environment that allows the proactive flow of communication between properties, allowing for feedback and best practice sharing on opportunities to improve current operations and successful partnerships
  • Provide seamless communication, reinforcing a culture of collaboration and cooperation across the organization
Skills & Experience 
  • A profitable EMEA Sales business plan and supporting process
  • Scaled business across Legends’ properties – ensure we have a bench of talent to deploy to new accounts
  • On target delivery of P&L commitments
  • Demonstrated sales leadership, through talent management, as well as productive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proven sales track record with significant results in our key accounts
  • A well-crafted and sophisticated sales presentation representative of Global Sales
  • Relationships with key, high-level clients
  • Effectively managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Exceptional interpersonal relationships with internal and external partners
